During Spring, Summer, and Fall, the plant produces delightfully fragrant, pink, white blooms. Flowering is followed by ornamental capsule that add seasonal interest. It provides essential nectar, shelter, or forage for native wildlife, including Bees, Butterflies, Hummingbirds, and Moths. Best suited to calcareous, clay, loam, moist, and sand, Butterfly Gaura adapts seamlessly to local soil conditions. It requires minimal supplemental water and tolerates dry spells with ease. It offers moderate deer resistance.
