Monterrey Oak

During Spring, the plant produces green blooms. Flowering is followed by nut fruit that adds seasonal contrast. It provides essential nectar, shelter, or forage for native wildlife, including Birds, Deer, and Small Mammals. Best suited to clay, loam, poor drainage, rocky, and sand, Monterrey Oak adapts seamlessly to local soil conditions. It requires minimal supplemental water and tolerates dry spells with ease.
